The owners of this 120 year old sandstone house asked us to complete an extensive lime mortar repointing and Lithomex stone repair work to the exterior. There were around 150 individual repairs carried out.
This small window below had cement patches surrounding it. Once they were removed a brick infill was revealed, presumably where at some point in the past the window aperture had been reduced. After laying mesh to avoiod cracking, a Lithomex coat was applied and tooled to replicate the rybats on the other windows.
